Bra & Cup Measurement
Step 1. The Bra Size:
Remove any clothing and put on your best fitted unpadded bra and, using a
measuring tape, measure directly under your bust making sure the tape is
straight across your back (make it snug). This defines your Bra Band Size. To
this measurement, you add either 5" on an odd number or 6" on an
even number. Always keep the number even. Example: your measurement is
29", your underbra measurement would equal 34".
Step 2. The Bra Size..cont'd: Now measure around the high bust,
which is over the bust but under the arm (always making sure to take a snug
fit). This defines your High Bust Measurement.
Step 3. The Cup Size: Using the same tape measure, measure
directly across the fullest part of your bust. This measurement defines the
Full Bust Measurement. To establish your Bra Cup Size, take the difference
between the Full Bust and High Bust Measurement. Example: Full Bust Size
34" minus the High Bust 30" = 4". Your cup size = "D"
(as shown in chart below). Our example Bra Size would be 34D.
Comfort Tips
If the bra seems to fit in the cup, but
the band is too tight, you will need to move up in the band size and down in
the cup size. See Equivalent Size chart below for example. Also very helpful
is our suppliers size chart. Always look for the letter in front of the model
number for the supplier, Coquette (C), DBF (D).
Waist Measurement
Using a tape measure, measure around
the narrowest part of the waist.
Hips Measurement
Using a tape measure, measure around
the fullest part of the hips.
